Ever since I started vaping, I’ve been getting a lot of questions. A bit overwhelming for someone that just started a month ago but this one month journey has led to a world of information. If I just vaped and didn’t do my research, then I wouldn’t have much to say but I can honestly say after listening to all the experts, trial & error, and trying out all types of vaping devices, I have found an excellent vapor. This post will be filled with details on what to purchase and where you can purchase it.
After reading several reviews and watching videos of vaping pros, I settled on the Joyetech eGo-C Twist.
Please note, I get all of my vaping equipment from: http://www.myvaporstore.com/JOYE_eGo_C_Starter_Kits_Accessories_Joyetech_eGo_C_Elec_s/83.htm
I am not affiliated with this company in any way so I don’t receive any money or incentives to promote this site. They’re just one of the cheapest and one of the most reliable sites I have purchased from. Also, their delivery time is excellent.
Why the eGo C Twist? Because of the following reasons:
- It’s affordable.
- It has a variable voltage (Simply put, meaning that you can control the amount of vape /voltage you want.)
- It’s a trustworthy name brand. It’s the most common vapor used by newbies and veterans. It’s the Marlboro of vaping.
- Looks very clean and sleek.
Here is what you have to purchase:
1. Joye eGo-C Twist Variable Voltage Battery – $22.99 to 25.99
There are several sizes. 650mah, 900mah, and the 1000 mah battery. I personally have the 1000 mah battery because it lasts the longest but it’s pretty long in my opinion. Most of you will be happy with the 650mah because it’s more compact and shorter than that 1000 mah battery.
I would suggest buying two batteries if you can afford it. That way you can have one charging while vaping on the other.
2. Joye eGo Rapid USB Charger($6.75) & Wall to USB Converter($6.25)
I got two chargers because I bought two vapors. If you want to charge from your car, which I recommend not doing too often, any USB car adapter will work from Amazon. I currently use this car charger at the moment:
3. Kanger T3 eGo Bottom Coil Clearomizer $5.85
This is where the e-juice (also called e-liquid) goes. Make sure when you fill it, you tilt the clearomizer to the side. You don’t want the juice going down the middle section of the clearomizer. You’ll know what I mean when you get it.
4. Atomizer Head for Kanger T3/MT3 – $2.99
This is the piece that holds the wick. The clearomizer already comes with one attached but you will need this as a backup when the atomizer head is no longer working as well. Some people it lasts a month and for some it lasts up to 10 months. You’ll learn as you go. For now, just purchase this.
Let me just say this from the start. Juice is very subjective. Everyone has a different taste and vendor they will like. It’s all a matter of preference.
That being said, let me talk about e-juice. E-juice consists of propylene glycol (pg), vegetable glycerin (vg), nicotine and either natural or artificial flavors.
Many online vendors will allow you to choose the ratio of the PG and VG. Propylene glycol produces better flavoring and less vapor. Vegetable glycerin produces more vapor and somewhat less flavor. I would suggest going with a 70-30 ratio if the vendor allows you to choose because this allows you to taste most of the flavor with a good amount of vape.
Also, start off with low nicotine content because most people who vape end up taking in a lot more nicotine because you can pretty much vape wherever you want. I would start off with the 6mg (ultra lights) and move up if this is too weak for you.
Here are some of the vendors that are popular among those who vape:
Heather’s Heavenly Vapes: http://www.heathersheavenlyvapes.com
EC Blend: http://www.ecblendflavors.com/
Highbrow Vapor: http://highbrowvapor.com/
Five Pawns: http://fivepawns.com/ A little on the pricey side but my friend swears it’s the best.
Like I mentioned in a previous post, if you have money to blow, get a Provari. If not, get the eGo C Twist. You won’t regret it. This is one of many more posts of vaping to come.
